2006 Guild Meeting

The Trey Green Guild 

Established November 2005  ~     Members Include: 

Lacey Anderson, Shawnra Cash, Diana DeLeon, Pam Doty, Lindsay Fox, Janet Gray, Erin Green, Shannon Green, Connie Hill, Bettina Hoesel, Mandi Ray, Rachel Richmond, Mindy Stephens, Anna Swanberg, Jennifer Thompson, Karla Wiker, Jami Wood, Sherry Wright and Diana Young.

In 2005 I moved to the Sequim area from Seattle. When I lived in Seattle I belonged to a children’s hospital guild and really enjoyed the camaraderie of new friends and raising money for such a wonderful facility.  Moving to Sequim made me leave behind my guild, and although I had to leave my guild friends, giving to Children’s didn’t have to end.  I grew up in Sequim and had some friends from living here before.  I started looking for a great way to reconnect with old friends and meet new friends.  It wasn’t hard to find other women & moms much like me to become the Trey Green Guild founding members. 

The Trey Green Guild is currently made up of 20 women form the Olympic Peninsula.  It is through these wonderfully generous women and
their friends and family giving their own money and large amounts of
time that makes our guild so successful.

We named the guild after a baby boy that is close to our hearts.  All of us are passionate about Children’s but the rewarding part of membership, and the motivation to raise money, comes from doing it in Trey's name. It's such an honor to remember the son of one of our founding members through our work.
