Are you looking forward to another fantastic year celebrating wine and our fantastic hospital, Seattle Children's?  We are enthusiastic about the changes we made to enhance our guests experience at this year's event.

       A change in venue, we are expecting to still deliver the wonderful outdoor experience but also provide a warm shelter for our live auction.  The Cedars at Dungeness will host our outdoor event.  Outside will be the silent auction tables, our TGG store, wine tasting tents, golf games and so much more. 

       Today we are diligently working to procure wonderful auction items, you are sure to find a wonderful deal or a great experience to bid on.  We have secured several local wineries and vendors for 2010.  Guests will enjoy complimentary tastings offered by Damiana's Best Cellars, Harbinger Winery, Olympic Cellars, Wine on the Waterfront and more.  Our guest speaker comes to us from one of our sponsors, Blackball Ferry Line.  Britney is joining us to share her son, Ashgen's, personal story.  The cheer will be abundant this year, with new guild members, new guest and all of our retuning supporters.

Directions to the event

Use the Old Olympic Hwy, and head north on Cays Road.  Proceed approximately a half mile to Woodcock Rd. Turn left (west) onto Woodcock Rd. Take a right about 500 ft down the road onto the grounds.  

Please remember that the event is indoor/outdoor so please dress accordingly.

Keynote Speaker: 

This year we were lucky to have a guest speaker from one of our gold sponosrs,  Black Ball Ferry Line.  Britney Balch is a Port Angeles resident and mother to Ashgen Steele who is receiving care at Seattle Children's.  She and her family are joining us this year to help support the hospital that continues to deliver legendary care regardless of a family's ability to pay.  Times are different than they were in past years and with funding cuts at the state level and more families without jobs and medical insurance, Children's needs our support even more.   We thank Britney and her family for their support and wish them all the best with Ashgen's on going care.
