2015

The ladies from the Trey Green Guild brought in a remarkable $100,000 from the weekend festivities out at the Cedars at Dungeness. Over the course of the weekend, the guild hosted a golf tournament, golf ball drop raffle and their Annual Wine Gala & Auction. The tournament had nearly a full field with 114 players participating and teeing off for sick children. The afternoon concluded with a bbq and golf ball drop. Members of the guild sold over 700 $10 tickets to the community offering them each a chance at a golf ball in the drop. Lucky winner Jesse Charles took home top prize $500.

The skies parted for sunshine Saturday night after a bit of a blustery week. The group attributes this to Trey looking after them from the heavens. The outdoor event hosted five wineries and breweries with complimentary tastings, live music by Strait Shots and over 150 silent auction items. The crowd moved inside for the live auction and a special tribute to past guest speakers and patients at Children’s hospital. Patient, Colten Matter, cut the ceremonious cake marking the accomplishments of the group and families in the last ten years. Singer song-writer Bailey Bryan sang an original song in front of the audience moving several guests and members to tears. The live auction had the same charisma it always and included a Children’s testimonial from Member Katie Brinkman, whose children both received life saving treatment at the hospital and lengthy hospital stays. Before the night was over there was a large bidding war for top item, a Wine Dinner with Gary & Earl. The night closed with the rapid fire wine sale and announcement of the $98,000 achievement before a generous donor offered up the balance to help the ladies meet their event goal and record night!

2014

The Trey Green Guild is proud to raise money for Seattle Children’s Hospital. We have found that with a little time, along with the generous support of our community, we are able to raise a significant amount of money. We have raised almost $500,000 since we established in 2005, and we are excited to see what this year brings.

Our annual fundraiser is a wine gala and auction held in September at The Cedars at Dungeness in Sequim. All proceeds from the event go directly to uncompensated care at Children’s. This funding ensures that all children receive the same level of care regardless of financial responsibility. In 2014 alone, 865 Clallam County residents were treated at Children’s and were assisted with over $1,062,959.00 for their care.
